This policy explains how Sedation Solutions LLP (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects personal information in connection with this website and the sedation services we provide.

2. Information you give us through this website
When you use the contact form on this website, we ask for your name, email address, landline and/or mobile number, whether you are contacting us as a patient, a practice or healthcare professional, or other, and the content of your message. This information is sent directly to our office by email through a form-processing service, and is not stored in a database on this website.
We use this information only to respond to your enquiry.
3. Patient feedback via FollowApp
As part of providing sedation care, we hold clinical and contact information about the patients we treat, in line with our obligations as a CQC-registered provider.
Following treatment, we use an independent patient feedback company, FollowApp (followapp.care), to gather feedback on our service. FollowApp is given a patient's name and mobile number so that it can send an eight-question feedback questionnaire by text message. FollowApp retains the responses and shares the feedback with us so we can monitor and improve our service. FollowApp works with medical practices and hospitals and operates under its own data protection and privacy arrangements — see followapp.care for details.
4. How we use your information
We use the information described above to respond to enquiries made through this website, to provide, manage and improve our sedation services, and to gather and act on feedback about the care we provide.
5. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with FollowApp for the purpose of gathering patient feedback, as described above, and, where necessary, with regulators such as the CQC, or as required by law.
6. Cookies and website analytics
This website does not currently use cookies for analytics or advertising tracking. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may involve your device connecting to Google's servers when the page loads.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), you have the right to ask us what personal information we hold about you, to correct inaccurate information, to delete your information in certain circumstances, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at office@sedationsolutions.co.uk. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
8. How long we keep information
We keep enquiry information for as long as necessary to deal with your enquiry. Clinical and patient records are retained in line with our obligations as a CQC-registered provider.
