Where we work

Based in London. Built to travel.

Our homepage gives you the shape of our coverage. This page explains how it actually works — particularly if you're a practice in Bristol, Manchester, Stoke or Nottingham wondering whether we could realistically provide a service where you are.

Sedation Solutions provides mobile IV sedation across Greater London and the Home Counties, with developing coverage in the Midlands and the ability to support practices further afield where the circumstances make it practical.

If your practice is outside our usual area, talk to us. Sometimes we can come to you; sometimes a regular service can be developed around local demand.

Our established coverage

Greater London and the surrounding counties remain the heart of our service — where most of our sedationists are based, and where we can most readily accommodate individual cases as well as regular sedation lists.

Core coverage

Greater London

All London boroughs, with the density of sedationists to accommodate individual cases as well as regular lists.

Outside these areas? Please don't assume the answer is no — our team regularly considers requests further afield.

Further afield

Further away doesn't necessarily mean out of reach. For practices outside our usual coverage area, distance becomes less important when several patients requiring sedation can be brought together into a planned session. A single short sedation several hours from London may not always be practical — a half-day or full-day list can be very different.

One patient

Contact us anyway. We'll look at the location, procedure, duration and availability and tell you honestly whether we can help.

Several patients

Consider creating a sedation list. Bringing suitable patients together can make providing a service considerably further from our usual area practical.

Regular demand

Let's talk about establishing a service. Where a practice or local group develops ongoing demand, we can explore a more regular arrangement.

Growing coverage differently

Our aim isn't to send London clinicians hundreds of miles indefinitely — it's to build sustainable local coverage where demand exists. When sufficient demand develops in an area, we can identify an appropriately experienced sedation doctor or anaesthetist and bring them through the same mentoring and accreditation process used across Sedation Solutions.

Once integrated into the team, they work within the same clinical systems, protocols, documentation and governance framework as colleagues based in London — supported by our central clinical and administrative infrastructure.

1

Local interest

Practices approach us about sedation in their area.

2

Demand develops

Regular cases or lists emerge from that initial interest.

3

Local clinician

A suitable sedation doctor is identified and mentored through our accreditation process.

4

Local service

Ongoing sedation support, delivered locally and supported through the Sedation Solutions network.

One service, wherever we work

This is probably the most important reassurance on this page: whether a sedation is provided in central London, the Home Counties, the Midlands or further afield, the Sedation Solutions model stays exactly the same.

The postcode changes. The standards don't.

Medically qualified sedationists

Clinicians selected and accredited within our service.

Central administration

Bookings, patient communication and documentation coordinated through our established office team.

Standardised clinical systems

The same assessment, sedation recording and recovery processes across the service.

Mobile equipment

Your sedationist arrives with the specialist sedation equipment, medication and disposables required.

Clinical governance

The same governance, audit and quality framework applies wherever we provide care.

Ongoing support

Our sedationists remain part of the wider Sedation Solutions clinical network, not isolated practitioners.

Thinking about sedation at your practice?

Tell us where you are. We'll tell you what's possible.

Whether it's one difficult case, patients you're currently referring elsewhere because treatment under local anaesthetic isn't possible, or the start of a regular sedation list — get in touch and we'll look at your location, the procedure and the level of demand, then give you a straight answer, not a stock one.
